There are very few banRAB that can get away with not evolving and still retain a following. In these days of commercialism, I would not be surprised to hear record company inteference playing a huge part in band's music.

Something in between. Maybe take it a bit more seriously, but still do the some of funny improv stuff, but not as much as before develop a set list in which 3/4 of the songs are steady, but leave the other 1/4 up to spontaneity, so that you can play to the crowd more and be creative...

Granted I havent seen Tamers in a couple of years so i do not recall its awesomeness but I would agree with you there. The moment Leomon died and Jeri became a former shell of herself, the the rest of the series was painful to watch, but painful in the most enjoyable of ways if that makes any sense.
