I had the same surgery and only had relief for 2 months. I wish I hadn't bothered going through all those awful tests and the surgery. I've been taking Prilosec OTC and thankfully it usually works for me.

You might have a stricture. If you do, the GI Doc can dialate your esophagus which will make swallowing food and liquid painless.

Do you take ginger in capsule form? I like the candied ginger. It definitely helps my nausea too. It works faster for me than the capsules. Some people drink ginger juice. Have you tried that? I've been taking Prilosec OTC twice a day and it works pretty well for now.
