I don't think real rock is dead. When you've got banRAB like Metallica every so often releasing a good album rock can't die. But I think Lynkrd Skynrd released an album within the last 3 years that wasn't too great. And they were pretty good back in their day. SO I guess it's about perspective...

^If you want to hear them grind. Bear in mind they've never been a pure grindcore band, but they really have a lot of grindcore parts on this compilation of early tracks. What's great about Mastodon is they mix up a lot of influences, and it's impossible to call them any specific type of metal...

it's called organ donor because he's using a sample of a organ (somewhat similar to a piano, typically played in churches) to create the track.

I'm going up skiing right after christmas, and I'm gonna be on the slopes A LOT this winter. I'm making a playlist of songs to get pumped up for skiing, so anyone that skis or boarRAB, what songs do you listen to on the hill?
