    MIDI latency problems/sound quality?

    So i'm having latency issues when I connect my mid keyboard to my computer directly while i'm using a DAW program. What I want to know is if getting an audio interface such as M-Audio's fast track will fix that problem or do i still have to tinker with the computer? Also I would Like to know...
