    Can a vacuum leak cause shifting problems in a 2001 Ford Crown Victoria P71?

    When I first put the car's transmission under an initial load I have to step on the gas for it to shift after the car is put into drive. The only light I have on in the instrument cluster is a check engine light that my mechanic says is a EVAP code.

    Why does the gas tank on a 1986 Ford Bronco take so long to fill?
