    chevy 383 stroker or pontiac 400 ?

    Hi all,I have a 78 firebird which had a v6 231 engine on it.I want to shift to a v8 engine,which would be a better choice , a 350 chevy block changed to 383 stroker or a 400 good conditioned pontiac engine ?!? TNX
