    USMC...Visiting 29 Palms, CA?

    It is roughly 48 days of training from the day he picks up class. Many Marines at MCCES (includes Field Radio Operators Course) have to wait at least a week or two in order to pick up classes. The nearest major airport is in Ontario. That's the airport I use personally.

    Can you rank up in Marine Boot Camp?

    Most rank up as PFC if they rank up at all. Yes, given you were Company honor man. Only 1 per Company would rank as Lcpl.
