Because it's intermittent, I doubt it's a breaker. Most likely a bad contact or corroded wire at the terminal. Best and quickest is a dealer check, shouldn't be too expensive. good luck

I think you mean the "studs" in the cylinder casting. If you take the head off, you might be able to grab it with a pair of vice grips and turn it out.
