The 15 and 16 is not really the size of the tire, it's the diameter of the wheel the tire is mounted on, so, to answer your question... Yes, you can mount 15 inch tires on your car, but you'll have to change the wheels also.

My favorite is one of the BMW R1200 series. IMHO, while it's not ultra fast, with the right accessories, the R1200GS is the perfect commuter bike and an excellent long-distance touring bike with a bit of off-road capability. Pretty much the best all-around bike on the market today.
