The bike will perform better as it breaks in. About 3,000 miles it is really loose.
Remember the rev limiter on the C50 is 8,500 RPM. No constant throttle for the first 1,000 miles. Don't baby it, just don't log or run at a constant speed for a long period.

It should be OK.......but for $6 or so, I think I'd change it and flush the new fuel through the carb bowls too.
Well sure. IF the the bowls become over-full because the needle valves have failed. :roll:

I bought a 10" dark smoke for my 2010 FLHTK from Jim @ FastAire. I have bought from Jim before and he is a great vendor to do business with.

I was looking at a set of true duals, but my local HD Indy shop talked me out of them because he says they are not the same quality or manufacturer as the ones I should have gotten 4 years ago.

You could take those tips and sent them to a powder coater.
This is the symptom I had. Mine was very inconsistent. It might take 5, 10,20 minutes or even an hour. But eventually it would cut sound. Power cycling the radio always did the trick. The radio was replaced under warranty. So far so good.

It has been done to my 09 Ultra Classic and I say it is well worth the money...The bike is quicker, better sounding, and runs much cooler. The cooler part was why most folks do it...as to the "leaner statement"...not true...The heat reductions proves you are not leaner!!! My advise is to go for...
