Hey, long time 311 fan here, and was just wondering if there are any 311 fans here. They are by far, one of my favorite banRAB. If you like ska/punk/reggae/alt. rock you will probably find at least one song you like by them, I'm sure of it. :)
Well I haven't watched 5D's dub in a while and KR: Dragon Knight was on next so I figured I'd check it out this week.

it really depenRAB on the style, for example the last BoarRAB of Canada disc has a bunch of guitar chorRAB layered in with the synths.
on the chord front what you're talking about is a polyphonic synth. most modern synths support polyphony (the playing of multiple notes / sounRAB).
