I watched the film one evening when it premiered on Sky about a year or so ago and I really enjoyed it and that time it had the normal ending but Sky last year was showing the directors cust and I def prefer the 1st ending as i like happy endings

It's ridiculous when release dates are so far apart between countries. Just yet another way in which the industry shows how clueless they are.

well - he can't really be accused of milking it, seeing as that was waht was originally intended - 9 films. ep1 was a big let down, but it was always going to be, so long after the original. ep2 was better - pretty decent entertainment really, which is all its meant to be - certainly a lot...

I prefer the Batman Begins version. Jack Napier/Joker (1989) works very well for one film, but for a longer series i think Batman Begins took a better approach.
