Car Audio Question (Easy) Professionals or geeks only please.?

I have a 3000w amp, 4 channel. So that is 750w per channel. I have a 1800w sub, 900w rms. Safe to use on 1 channel or will it blow? Just needs it clarifying. I am guessing that the 1 channel @ 750w being lower than the 900w rms will mean it is safe. Thanks.
