Which films did you NOT want to see.. then were pleasantly surprised!

Zathura Lassie (the 2005 version) Eight Below I very reluctantly took my children to see these. I was so not looking forward to watching them, especially Lassie, I even took my MP3 player. However, I loved them all and they now take pride of place in my DVD collection. Great family films...

    The Exorcist on SCI-FI Channel

Last time I saw it was in 1974. I wouldn't even watch it in daylight if you paid me ASIFZED. We only went into the cinema that fateful day to get out of the rain.

Films reviews compared 2 your opinions

I thought Saving Private Ryan was pretty over-rated. This comes from someone who did history do a high level. The sequel, Shaving Ryan's Privates was better though

Films that scarred you the most

LOL. Yep. (when i was younger) "The Stuff" really got me when i was a lad. Sadly, the most recent film that scared me was The Mothman Prophecies, i must have been having an off day. Oh yes, a certain scene in Mullholland Drive got me going...but only for a minute. (the transient)

    Miscasting in Movies

Hilary Swank in The Black Dahlia Dennis Quaid in Far From Heaven (nothing to do with his acting, he's just so NOT gay) Edward Norton in Red Dragon Kate Bosworth in Superman Returns (aside from being a crap actress, she's at least 10 years too young for the part) Katie Holmes in Batman Begins...

    Back to the Future

Even more useless trivia. Eric Stoltz was the original choice for Marty and even filmed the initial scenes before being replaced shorty after production. However the Stoltz footage has never been released to this day for some reason.

    Top of 2005

Seriously. It just gets better and better. The peak of Glosoli is the most powerful point of any song I've ever heard. I've actually teared up over it.

Well just found this link with 30 second samples of each song on the new album. Shit sounRAB fucking promising. It's good to hear that old school black metal vibe in this day an age. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VlqlmR-Kg8

    Most shocking ending

I think I can remember this... Loved the film meself. Don't like horror at all, but the acting was brilliantly natural and, like the first Alien film, we saw nothing but everything was in the imagination which is far scarier. Shot on video on an ultra-low budget, a true one of a kind...
