I'd forgotton about The Thing, that's a great film!

The film was awful! I was so disappointed, it just didn't seem to have a proper plot at all! I have read and re-read the books though and love them! I think they're the best book series in terms of fantasy literature for adolescents and kiRAB, and great for adults too.

I don't think NC was desperate to play just any superhero - he even has a Ghost Rider tattoo which had to be covered up for this movie. He is a massive GR fan and was desperate for this part. Still a godawful movie, mind.

I've been looking forward to this for a while now, as it's directed & written by the guys behind one of my favourite movies of all-time, The Usual Suspects (Bryan Singer & Chris McQuarrie respectively).

I found this on a movie trivia website.... When the Mother-Ship passes over the Devil's Tower near the end of Spielberg's movie, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, R2-D2 can be seen hanging from the bottom of the ship. I might have to rent the DVD just to see if it is true!

I literally just got back from seeing it for the second time. I actually think i enjoyed it even more the second time, absolutely brilliant film. A little thing to look out for on the second viewing (dunno if it's been mentioned already): Cobb only has his wedding ring on during dream scenes...

Gillian has commented on this 'accent' change before. One interviewer asked her, when she was over here, why she sounded English. She said that because she spent her early life here, English was the first accent she picked up and so she automatically switches to it when talking the English. But...
