It's best if you can to ride the bike in order to run through the gas that's in the tank then fill the gas tank with fresh gas then add the fuel stabilizer and then run the bike enough to get the fresh stabilized gas run all through the fuel system. Lastly re-top off the tank with fresh gas...

I don't have any engine guards. I bought this bike and someone had taken them off. I don't care either way as they tend to bend the frame if you go down hard. Not that the bike wouldn't be screwed up anyway. I would like them for the hwy pegs though. I need those damn it.

Yes the 08's still use the 8967 double row ball bearing. Iam looking on my work order from a year ago and I see they replaced the output gear assy-driven and it is part #35122-06 so that part is not updated. I will be picking up my bike later today from having this problem and I will report...
