    He swung and if it hit him it would be a dead ball considering he swung at it and he would have a strike against him. If he didn't swing he would obviously be awarded 1st. I wait for the rule book guys to give you the official ruleing.

    Basketball can be taught to kids easily, if you can run, jump and can be taught to shoot, you can play basketball with relative ease. Baseball is harder to teach to kids. Its hard to teach kids to field a ground ball of adults still make the odd errors, or makes kids work to throw a fastball...
