I think quality control was hit or miss. Same thing with the 6270. Mine was fine, but I know others had issues with a wobbly slide and such. Must be the 850 causing the problems. heh

That E61 price is just back down to where it was about 6 weeks after release. When I bought mine it was only $400. A couple of weeks ago I was seeing prices more like $450...
