    are the vodafone 'make' of phones hard to unlock?

    I Recently unlocked a nokia 5230. It was a lot of bother. the whole process took nearly 3 weeks. where as with a previous samsung phone it was within minutes. i am thinking of purchasing the vodafone smart. i am able to get a code of vodafone. will i have to wait for the code or what?
