i think it is just sony's ploy to make you buy a 1080p set, which if you notice...they're flooding the market with several 1080p sets. sony should have included 1080i compatability but I guess sony just though about their average sony HDTV owner

When it downloads the maps does it permantly store them on the M card or the phone memory?...and can you specify where you want them stored?
