Wow...i completly agree with your point of view. You've just read my mind. The first 20 chapters were irrelevant to the overall main plot of the story...which only took up about 5 chapter of the entire 30 chapter book! And the ending (interesting part) was rushed like crazy...if JK Rowling...

Just watching this on BBC2 (I know - sad for a Sat night!) but I forgot how funny a movie this is!!

It was on S4C last night and I came across it by chance. What an eye opener of a film. It woke me up, and is the best thing I have watched for a long time. Might search out the DVD now, just for the added documentary. ps, I don't usually do subtitles but they were forgotten within 10 mins...
