    Hi do I really need "3D-HDTV" if I want to experience 3D movies?

    Hi I currently have 52"Sony Bravia HDTV/LCD 1080P 120Hz & my PS3 console to watch Blu-ray movies & play video games. I do want to buy Avatar & Moster vs Aliens on Blu-ray 3D version & buy upgradeing my HDMI cable to a HDMI 1.4 version. My question is do I really need a 3D/HDTV? Thank you.
