Your best bet is to stay in school. And to that end you kind of forgot an option: Stay in school and cut back your work hours. You make a little money and have a little free time. You don't know what you want to be just yet but an education to begin with goes a LONG damn way.

Yeah, and allot of furnaces are set up to easily relight the pilot light. The pilot light should always be on unless there is a loss of fuel pressure. Ether the gas was turned off, or it got clogged. Stupid physics.
