That piece is called "Now we are free" by Hans Zimmer and Lisa Gerard. It's originally from the movie "Gladiator". It's a very 'ethnic' piece, there's African, Asian and European influences throughout it. Which is why it doesn't fit with 300, as the Spartans were *ahem* "pure".

Its an ADAPTION of the BOOKS not a remake of the film musical. I hate the word remake. Oz has been screaming out for a new , darker, lord of the rings type adaption for years.
