I agree with this. As a fan of Lord of the Rings, I enjoyed those movies but i thought Jackson overly indulged, especially in the last film. He cut out important bits of plot, changed characters to suit himself, and introuced long scenes which were unnecessary and unbalanced the story. As one...

Yes it's worth having. Nightmare on Elm Street, Nightmare on Elm Street III, and Wes Craven's New Nightmare are worth having. I would say Freddy's Dead is worth having too, I think I'm in the minority though. Definitely buy it and watch the first at least before the remake. Plenty of time anyway.

It had the right amount of laughs and plot, really liked this film. Funny, entertaining, and I enjoyed the idea. Very cool :p

i was a youngester in early 80s when films where showing in 3d. I did see Jaws 3d which was the best thing ever at the time. I do believe this time, it has had a lasting impact. I dont care for it much at all - but was very suprised when i first heared about 3D TVs in Januray. to the point...

I watched the first one at the cinema and spent weeks trying to convince myself that it was a good film but the truth eventually dawned on me. It is a good piece of cinema (ie technologically and in terms of sheer scale) but in terms of entertainment it is as dull as ditchwater
