:D
Dont forget: "Get your ass to Mars!"
TR is a great film - one of Arnie's best - but I dont think it's an all time classic. Predator or T2 may spark a more solid debate..
"The Longest Day" must be up there somewhere.
John Wayne, Richard Burton, Robert Mitchum, Sean Connery, Henry Fonda, Kenneth More, Robert Ryan, George Segal, Rod Stieger, Robert Wagner....oh and a bunch of others.
the trailer is alright but it looks like the americans have rewritten the story again. doesn't the japanese version follow the photographers assistant rather than the main woman from the first film? I've not watched it in ages and I can't be sure
Can't beat an oldie on a rainy day.
Maybe its just nostalgia but I have great memories of Charlie Chan movies on a Friday evening on BBC2. Sherlock Holmes and Tarzan films from the early forties on Saturday mornings. Will Hay and Miss Marple. Passport to Pimlico, Old Bette Davies films like Now...
I seem to remember a film called The Player or Players, which was critically acclaimed.
I loathed it. The first and only film I have ever walked out of the cinema from.
The Child Catcher in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang for sure - he used to scare the hell out of me as a kid & he still does :o Also the creepy guy in the Poltergeist movies (I think he's in them all). Made me shudder when I saw him!
I have just finished watching a new comedy called Fanboys. It is about a group of frienRAB that travel across America to steal a screener of Episode 1.
It is quite crude in places, but still quite amusing & would only appeal to those that are into Star Wars. It also stars Seth Rogen (Knocked...
never go by what the critics say, most dont know their arse from the elbow anyway, if you think it looks good go see it
im looking forward to watching it, i think it looks really good but i dont want to see it in 3D
why do people like 3D i just think it just looks cheap and hurts your eyes...
LOL the thread title made me chuckle, because the same thing happened to me. The Exorcist is one of my favourite horrors, and Exorcist II was so appalling I avoided part III for a long time, until a friend recommended it. Superb film, really dark and creepy, and that scene in the hospital has to...
Oh dear. If you preorder from Play they generally dispatch on Thursday and you receive on the Saturday. Unfortunately you're too late, if only you asked before yesterday afternoon :(
I've not been to LA, New York is fabulous. Much better than London.
I might see this film on DVD but it doesn't sound such a hoot as the hype is making out.
