It's currently at 82% on Rottentomatoes. That's a bit beind Casino Royale (which I adored and hit a stellar 94%), but still very good. Empire, Times, Guardian and BBC were all very positive about it. I'm hopeful.

Pretty much all films are to a greater or lesser extent subjective as to whether they're 'good' or not. Except Shaun of the Dead - which is objectively, de-facto and unequivocally excellent in every respect. I'm not helping here, am I?

Blade Runner? You're joking. It came and went in 1982 with hardly a fuss. Its only years later when VHS helped build its audience that interest grew - and then Scott re-edited it in 1992. But on par with Star Wars - no way. I have Blade Runner in a 5 disc Bluray set but you cant compare it...

If you're going to get a ticket I'd get ordering now if I were you... It might already be too late. But, according to the SHH forums, they've pushed the release date forward a day to Thursday (the 24th), so you could save your money and just wait a few extra hours and see it the next day...

watched it today .. utter guff. the battle at the end was decent, but it was 2 hours of nothing up to that point.
