I guess the closer the server is, the better speeds you get (through FTP and such, I believe).

It's obvious that members who have been with them for over a year would be happy! Why would they still be members if they weren't?! Some people must be getting the service which is advertised, or close to it. But that's not a reason to slag off the ones who aren't happy with it.

or you could always remove the old harddrive from the old computer... change the jumpers to "slave" install in your new machine and copy... chances are this will allow it to work faster than any network transfer...
