Check the rms wattage rating of the amp compare it to your speakers. If it's higher yes there is a chance it wil blow them up.

Do you have the dual 2ohm or the dual 4ohm models?

The first set up is better. The other amp would work good for 2 of those subs.

sounds pretty good just make sure you get the right ohm L5's if it's a mono block amp get the dual 4 ohm. If it's a 2 channel amp get the dual 2 ohm. That way you get the 1 ohm load your looking for.
