    Am I a decent field goal kicker and how do I become better?

    You didn't kick a 42 yard field goal the first times you kicked, soccer player or not, especially only playing up through U-12. No one ever puts the ball on on the 32 yd line to practice a kick. It always goes ont the 30, 35, 40, etc. yd line. That's just the way it is.
