    most probably is either air sensor, or fuel throtle sensor, however the warning light does not sound healthy, my advise have it checked by a mechanic, good luck mate.

    any car drives good in the snow but it has to be well equipped for that type of weather. BTW the weight of Honda is like any other Jap car so the weight is not an issue, remember snow needs either snow tyres or chain then the weight is not an issue any more. good luck mate.
