Jack it up and put it on GOOD jack stands and use your garden hoes to get rid of any mud you can see. Let it dry and then look for any thing that might be bent or rubbing on some thing.
Then AS SOON AS POSIBLE get back in it and do some more mudding.
Just remember " IF IT AIN"T FUN...
First change the fuel filter and run some ZMAX or an outher injector cleaner in the gas tank.
Next would be to check fuel pump pressure and then wires cap and rotor.
The noise could be a little ware indacator on your pads.

Could be a bad rod bearring.

If you want to run on pump gas you don't want to go any bigger the .500 lift.
If you call eather Summit Raceing or Jegs They will take the time to talk you through it.
Check front drive shafts along with the steering. Any thing loose could do this.
Next check all shocks and shock mounts. Then check your motor and tranny mounts.
Then the main drive shaft "U" joints
You can build that 300 to give you extra to go off road with out putting a blower on it.
Summit Raceing, and Jegs have bolt on top end kits to give it what your want.
