Wrong, only christians debate the existence of god. I have no more need to argue over the existence of god than I do the existence of the tooth fairy. However if a christian wants me to believe in god all I ask is they provide incontrovertible evidence that he exists.

No, it's absolute rubbish. Even if the bible was historically accurate it only covers a small area. What use would the bible be to an archaeologist in Russia or China for instance.
