I would wait for CS5 to come out! Looks really cool! VMWare isn't that great, I have it for AutoCad and it's a little laggy. Especially with resource intensive programs such as Photoshop.

Every laptop now has wireless internet now. You can probably get a really small 9" laptop for about $250 but nothing better than that unless it's used. You could probably get a decent laptop for about $400 from best buy if you went and shopped around. Those will have wireless built in too.

It's not too hard really. It's much easier when you have something in mind that you want to do or that you have pushing you such as a class. I need something like that to get motivated.
