    Ducati or BMW(motorcycles)?

Ducati and BMW are both prestigious high end brands, BMW tending to have a bit better quality and reliablility and Ducati more performance though this not always the case. I think the BMW F650GS would be a good starter bike. Also a Smaller displacement Ducati Monster or "SS" model. It should...

    First Moped/Bike help please anyone?

Not being from Oz I dont know your market well, but the Ape is a very track focused piece, and will be ill suited to commuiting. I recommend a dual sport of some sort. They are versitale, rugged and user friendly.

    Details on a 2005 Ford F150 XLT Triton with a 4.6 8 cylinder engine?

Triton was a meaningless moniker like chevys vortec. The triton are all 2valve sohc "modular motors" there was a 4.6 V-8, a 5.4 V-8 and a 6.4 V-10. The 10cylinder didnt come in an F150. The 4.6 will be fine for most use, if not exactly powerful.

    Pontiac Grand Am questions?

    - The sound system is not very good, especially compared to newer and aftermarket setups. - It all depends on how well maintained it is -The gas mileage difference would be negligable. The extra performance of the V-6 would be worth while. - There are better options from other makers than...

Street Bike Questions. I Wanna start riding .?

The thing about motorcycles isnt cheapness but value. I paid 5K for my 99 CBR1100XX about two years ago. It tops out ~185 and runs low tens in the 1/4 mile. How much would you have to spend on a car to get that kind of performance?

Why are Super Sport race replicas viewed by some as good beginner bikes?

i know there are legions who do start on them, in fact a close friend started on a 600RR. But, its just about the worst possible choice for a beginner in my opinion. then again why does anyone have a super sport? if you want a race rep why not just get a literbike?

Should I get a ducati 848 as a first bike?

The 848 will really be a little more managable than a 600cc race rep, as it has a more tractable, torquey motor. If you want a race rep, and dont care about the cost, an 848 is hard to beat. Id get something a bit more road biased and comfortable myself though.

to Kawasaki Ninja 250R or not?

A 250 Ninja works great in congested cities, but doesnt have power to safely operate on the hiway. It runs 15s, and wont go 100mph. Also at 5'10" it will feel cramped. Look at the Kawasaki EX500R Ninja and Suzuki GS500F. If you have dirt experiance (that you safely rode your friends suggest to...

is a kawasaki ninja 650r a good beginner bike?

There is alot more to choosing a good beginner bike than CCs. For Example a 1200cc Harley Sportster is a decent novice choice. A ZX-6R Ninja is a horrible choice. The Suzuki RG500 is even worse, but the Suzuki GS500 is a great first ride. See the lack of correlation. Its all about the bikes...

    Ford 3.8 Compatibility?

I have a 1990 Thunderbird S/C with a manual tranny, and a seized bottom end. I have a 98 Mustang 3.8 with an auto tranny and a cracked head. Is there any reason I couldnt replace the T-bird short block with the Stangs, provided all the components are servicable?
