    Can't really answer your 2nd question, but to your first probably, my dad seems to be doing MORE activity since he got his replaced (apparently titanium works better than bone ;o) )

    Yep...it's funny...were all not guilty of speeding...your still going to get the fine and the points (which means your insurance WILL go up) Pleading not guilty without a lawyer (which is guaranteed to be more than the fine in the first place.) is just asking to piss off the judge. Assuming...
