Yep. If you found the E61i's "sweet spot," then the volume was just barely adequate. If the E71 has this issue, I probably won't be buying it.

I don't see why they would worry about this 1 handset when there are plenty of non RIM qwerty devices that support BBC. There wasn't official support for the E50, and E90 out of the gate but installing certain versions worked fine for me.
