What do you think of this as a first bike? My friend is selling his to me for $2000. I've ridden on 250 Ninjas and GS500s, but those are alot less powerful than a CBR600. What do you think of it as a first bike?

Although I've been camping numerous times, this is the first time I am organizing one. I don't want to forget anything... Is there anything I should bring that are easily forgettable?

For a first bike, it's obviously better to get something easy to learn on, probably a 250 Ninja. I do however like the look of the bigger bikes, especially the R6. I am leaning towards the smaller displacement though, which would you recommend a 250 Ninja or an R6?

Why even go with a '05 ninja? Why not go for an earlier model even? I have a 94 Ninja to learn from, after which I plan to get something bigger; but if you're just going to learn on the bike for a year or two...get something even older and save a little bit more. Just a thought...and yes, go...

I hear they have ALOT of reliability issues. If you have experience with other bikes, then a 600cc bike might work for you. If not, I really suggest you start with a 250 ninja or something similar.
