    How large of an amplifier do i need for my 12" Kicker L5 square sub woofer?

    I'm going to assume that your sub has dual 8 ohm voice coils, so run them in paralell and get an amp that pushes 600-650 watts RMS @ 4 ohms mono. I have a Rockford P500-1 pushing 2 12" JL W1-V2 and they souls great. Even though the amp is rated at 500w RMS, it's factory benched at 706w @ 4ohms...
