    I prefer them in the doors rather than the dash. Hmm, I never thought about the center console, seems like a good idea if you ask me.

    sean k listed two good ones, kicker and rockford fosgate. I would also add Alpine, Infinity, kenwood, jl audio, and JBL, there are other ok brands too such as clarion, eclipse, mtx, phoenix gold, and others as well.
