sounds like you have the cable in a bind take it lose from the transmission and make sure the cable slides into the unit easy maybe check for lube on the cable turn it and it should turn easy and smooth.

...and sometimes wont start? this thing will run for days fine and then just shuts off or wont start it has no trouble codes and when it wont run it has fire to the spark plugs but not to the injectors and the injector fuse has no voltage.
