Applecare does not cover cracked screens, but you can still bring the phone to an apple store and get a replacement by paying. Where did/do you work that your at&t store policy for iPhones is to turn people to third parties?

Big action scenes are one of the only things CGI has going against traditinal styles right now, IMO. Smaller movements look much more natural in 2-d, though I'm not quite sure for the reasons behind that.
