Yh it is probably the shark they are quite dominating, after a while they should find their places. We got a siamese fighting fish they are feisty an dominant, kept chasing other fish when we first got it but it dont now =].

What you could do is take a small amount of the paint and test it by adding white paint to make it lighter. If you like how the tester comes out you can add gradually alil more white each time to all the paint till you get your achieved colour =]
