It does. But the one on MyTouch after its updated to Android 1.6 is a lot better.
Also when you're at 1.6, you can get the free Google Maps Navigation.

the resistive screen on that phone is actually pretty sensitive. almost comparable to a capacitive. you can just get a screen protector for the scratches.
Can anyone confirm that the N97 has haptic touch??? I haven't seen it in an specs, but it's in these two videos.
