I have a 1993 gmc sierra that has a chevy 350 small block with an autotransmission 2wd. What is the proper idle it should be while in drive but stopped when the engine in fully warmed up? Currently my rpms are at about 450-470 rpms but it seems really low from what i know.

Well i just have a question when grounding the engine... I have heard that you can either run wire from the negative of the battery to the engine or you can run the engine wire to the chassis which is then ground to the battery... Why would you want to run the wire from the engine to chassis...

Sounds like your remote lock button is stuck down or your car door lock button is stuck in lock... Check the remote first then the car lock buttons...
