Pull the trigger. I've had the phone for about a 5 weeks now and the newness hasn't worn off yet. Only downfall is the battery life. Not on par with the E71.

you know what's crazy? in hong kong and malaysia there are small shops/stands in malls that you can just walk up to and get your Nokia fixed with new parts. while you wait! and CHEAP!
of course, not guaranteed by Nokia, etc. but hella easier than fedexing to some joint where they do nothing...

You know we don't hear much talk about the slider hinge quality. It's got to be innovative as there is none like it. Anybody worried about how it will hold up after a few thousand uses? Not that most of us keep any phone that long.

For me the iPhone was probably just as bad if not worse than the N97 was for you. I even lost a lot of money on the iPhone just to get it off my hands because of how much I hated it...
