    Is the Versys to much for a starter bike?

    I know alot of people say that it's better to start of on bikes like either the ninja 250r or ninja 500r, but there's not really that big of a difference in power between the ninja 500r and ninja 650r.     I know you can ride double on just about any bike, but could two people confortable ride double on a 2010 Kawasaki Z1000? Or any bike similar to it such as the 2010 Yamaha FZ1. thanks.
