Several things to considers as far as that goes: - If the show is more serious in nature then consistency should be used more often. Not perfect, just more effort. - Inconsistency occurs even in live action, thus you could use the arguement, it's just a tv show.

Hollywood remakes mean more merchandise and new television, classic or otherwise.

As one of the first made-for-television cartoons to feature African-Americans as lead characters, I think that alone (plus it being, well, the Jacksons) might merit putting it on DVD. If all those toy commercials-as-shows from the 80s like "He-man" and "GI Joe" can get a DVD release, well... :-p...

Ever since they started squashing outro credits for ads for other shows, they've been shortening cartoon intros. I remember when these things were like full minute songs, now it might just be a quick intro with some quick montage, then the titles.

OldBlue, Thanks for the info. I'll look that program up and hopefully they have something for Mac users. Do you know any programs that could compress a Divx file (.avi) to make the file size smaller? I have a bunch of Divx movies that I want to transfer and watch in my T|5. Let me know...
