If you are talking about the one that looks like a drain plug it's the crankcase drain. It's to drain out any oil left in the crankcase. If you plan on doing your own maintenance on your bike I would highly recommend getting a proper service manual. It will answer questions like you just asked.

You need a new clutch as yours is slipping. I would not drive it till it is fixed because if you do it will damage the flywheel.

At the base of the engine cylinder should be a number cast in to the metal. It will say something like 199 or 349. That will tell you the engine size.
