i have a 1991 ford escort 1.9 and i put the fuel pump a couple of month ago and like 3 to 5 month start running funny and now a wont start i unplug the fuel injections and try to start it up and nothing wont come out i would like to know what else can i do

I have a 95 jeep cherokee with 131 000 miles on it. When shifting from park to reverse my car lerches it also does it when shifting to drive. Sometimes it is worse than others. Will a trans flush help and how much will it cost
